Marketing 360

The SEFA Group works with some of the southeast's largest utility and concrete companies, providing an array of marketing, manufacturing, and transportation services to a very targeted audience in the fly ash industry.

Faced with an ever-growing marketshare, The SEFA Group called on Inspired Hype to serve as the Marketing and Communications arm of its business. Today, our team handles all advertising, promotions and marketing, trade show planning, and interactive sales support for the company, as well as management of the company's website and email newsletter.

Establishing a Strong Web Presence

As part of our marketing focus for The SEFA Group, we place a strong emphasis on the web for marketing the company's services to its target industries. Using a mix of Flash and HTML based elements, the site, www.SEFAGroup.com, serves as one of the most robust sources of information on the marketing and use of fly ash in the industry.

And as the company has grown, the web has become a vital part of its recruitment efforts. The company expanded its transportation services in the middle-Tennessee market in early 2006, adding 10-15 new tanker trucks to its fleet. With some basic Internet marketing and the addition of an online job application, the company had more than 100 qualified candidates for the new openings in just a few weeks. The cost savings alone for processing the job applications more than paid for the cost of developing the online form.

Supporting Sales & Partnership Development

When The SEFA Group works with utility companies to market and transport their ash products, they develop long-term mutually beneficial relationships with the utlities. Choosing to partner in these ventures is a very deliberate decision on the part of the utilities. To aid in conveying the company's message, we have developed an interactive CD-ROM that can be customized to each potential partner's needs and concerns. Full of information on fly ash, its history, its marketability, its uses, and SEFA's available resources, the disc has become a mainstay in the company's sales process.
