“There Is A Place” — Relocation CD-ROM

In 2000, Russell and Jeffcoat Realtors’ Relocation Services Department found that its 8-year-old video needed to be updated with new information about Columbia and the Central South Carolina region. Columbia Relocation CD-ROMExplaining that video production was not their only option, our team approached them with the concept of a Relocation CD-ROM. Divided into four main sections (Neighborhoods, Quality of Life, Education, and Relocation Services) the CD-ROM provided every piece of information the video would have included and more and saved the company some $3,000-5,000 per year in shipping costs alone. Revised in 2004 and again in 2006, the CD-ROM includes:

  • information on the major residential areas in the company’s nine-county region,
  • a listing of local area attractions, performing arts, sports and entertainment venues and events,
  • five video segments and four regional/local maps highlighting the area, and
  • links to local area websites and Russell and Jeffcoat’s Internet-based Multiple Listing Services with full user-tracking capabilities for measuring market effectiveness.

“Technology & Growth” — Broadcast Campaign

In early 2006, Russell & Jeffcoat found the opportunity to build brand awareness throughout Central South Carolina during coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games.

Faced with a tight production deadline and the need for unique creative, Russell & Jeffcoat turned to Inspired Hype to produce two high definition commercials that would tout the company's growth and drive home buyers and sellers to the company's website, www.russellandjeffcoat.com.

The goals of the campaign were simple: build upon the 40+ year reputation of Russell & Jeffcoat, showcase the ease of finding a home, and drive viewers to the website.

The results were clear. The first week saw an increase of 1,000 unique visitors to the website, and the commercials aired for two additional months following the conclusion of the winter games.
